Camp Wa-Klo for girls is more than just a summer in a life; it’s a lifetime in a summer. Wa-Klo gives girls the time to work, play, think, relax, be with friends, or to be alone in order for her to feel secure in the belief that she belongs to Wa-Klo, and Wa-Klo belongs to her.

The spirit of Wa-Klo is found in the heart, smiles, and laughter of our campers and staff; the spirit is found in the traditions of Wa-Klo but also in the inevitable changes camp makes each summer to offer a precious summer experience; the spirit of Wa-Klo began in 1938 and throughout the years, the spirit still burns brightly today.

Camp Wa-Klo is an all girls, summer camp.  “Our little corner of the world” provides a special summer home with a warm and inviting family.   Miss Kloberg, the founder of Camp Wa-Klo, wanted a small, residential camp in order to get to know each and every girl who entered Wa-Klo’s gate.  Today, we are still a small, down-to-earth camp with a close knit community that encourages individuality and celebrates achievement and effort. 

Camp Wa-Klo is a New England premiere camp in the state of New Hampshire, which has equal strengths in horseback riding, the arts, and land and water activities.  With over 40 activities, there truly is something for everyone at camp.  Special events, evening programming, and trips enhance the sleep-away experience. A traditional, all girls summer camp in beautiful, southwest New Hampshire allows girls to just be girls.  Our summer camp is happy, safe, full of new and fresh surprises, and, above all, fun.   The friendships and memories made during the summer camp experience truly make Wa-Klo a “Home Away from Home.”
