Attended camp: 2003, 2004
Memory: I have so many memories of my two years at camp, from being drawn on in felt-tip pen by my lower pioneers in 2003 to having that huge water fight with the other counsellors and campers in the boats on the White Mountain trip of 2004. I've had so much fun with my riders, especially watching Hannah Katz and Georgina Cannie competing for most spectacular flying dismount! I remember Camille winning reserve champion at friendship farm horse show on the dopiest horse we had and having to listen to my advanced riders complaining about riding 'jockey style'. How could I ever forget the officially messiest cabin in the world: 2nd month Ribbit 2004! Anna, Anastasia, Caitlin, Sophie and Aly (and of course Foo) you were nightmares but I miss you all! I'll never forget the almost as messy first monthers: Furrybum, Shelly/Tara, Andrea (the only tidy one), nutty Lauren and Crazy Amanda! I miss you all. I especially miss my great friend and stable help, Katelyn. Love you lots. Hope to see everyone in 2005xx

Memory: One of my strongest memories of camp, is when during 1st month, Jillian had this huge hershey jug, filled with chocolate sent to her from her mom. I remeber all the people in cracker barrel 1 always snuck the candy from the jug, and always asked every rest period, and before breakfast to have 1 or 2 or 3 even 4 pieces of candy. It was really funny, because by the end of a week, the huge enormous jug was empty...

Attended camp: 1990-1995
Memory: Hey, there! Although I have numerous memories from my entire stay at Camp in addition to all of my independent vacations there, my father's 50th birthday celebration during Parents' Weekend of 1992 is what I remember the most. Thanks to the Directors for purchasing the cake and to everybody else for helping out via singing "Happy Birthday" 5 times during the picnic on the Front Field, and for enjoying that fun experience! I can also never forget how well my first 3 ESL students improved from '93-'95 since their positive experiences enabled me to currently pursue my ESL certifications via UMBC while working and tutoring various age groups of children and adults for 12 years from everywhere! As far as my independent vacations there are concerned, I will cherish each one individually because I always look forward to revisiting Camp! My favorite memories include my visits during Parents' Weekend '97, the '04 Reunion, and my October '04 vacation to view Camp's spectacular fall foliage since I only took nine rolls of film. That's not too many, is it? :~) C-ya in July '05!

Attended camp: 1960's
Memory: Camp is of course, one of the most beautiful corners in the world, but also in my heart. It's beauty is not just in the surroundings, but in the people who make camp what it is and will always be to me. Camp taught me to care...about life, the environment, others, and myself. It gave me the spirit to strive to be my best and the knowledge to pursue any dream. Memories are as vivid today as when they happened. Canoeing down the Conn. river and sleeping in a field, Miss Jensen getting rid of a bat in Sleepy Hollow with a tennis racket, having Miss Fletcher as a counselor and staying in All-Out, "bobbing" in canoe races, eating blueberries on Blueberry Rock, hauling in a 300 lb. boy scout to pass life saving, nature reports that got away before presentation, getting perfect inspection in order to go to Silver Ranch (Kimbels today), and Council Fire where we learned to compete in different ways and found that we could be rivals and still friends. I have used camp's lessons many times in my classroom at school and begin and end each year with "I have to live with myself and so..." Memories of camp are so special- they are about the people, sports, exploration, and love in a little cache corner of the world.

Attended camp: 1990-1995
Memory: It's difficult for me to choose my fondest camp memory since there are so many to consider from my six summers in addition to all of my independent vacations I've spent there. If I had to choose, I would select my father's 50th birthday during Parent's Weekend picnic of 1992 on the Front Field. Thanks to everybody who participated since that event was extremely memorable! I can also never forget just how well my first three ESL students improved from 1993-1995 since their successes enabled me to pursue my current ESL certifications at UMBC! I can also never forget my Summer '97 and Fall '04 vacations there, in addition to the '04 Camp Reunion! Feel free to keep in touch. Thanks! C-ya in July '05 during Parents' Weekend!
