If you love being around horses and want to learn more about the responsibility of caring for them, then our horsemanship program is just right for you. Campers taking horsemanship will take part in the following experiences:
• Equine Nutrition
• Proper Grooming Techniques
• Daily Health Care
• Bandaging and Treatment of Minor Injuries
• Selection, Care and Fitting of Tack and Equipment
• Training and Exercise to Keep Your Horse Fit
• Show grooming and Braiding Techniques
In addition to these experiences, campers will be able to select a project horse and learn how to show a horse in halter.
