A Teeming Place that Creates the Best Kind of Team!
Bottle feed a calf, plant a garden and enjoy the harvest, light a fire with one match, swat at a tennis ball, set a volleyball, straddle the balance beam, and enjoy the sound when you hear, “Nothing but net!”
The Wa-Klo team celebrates the success of winning achievements for all levels of experience. Wa-Klo is not highly competitive, although it offers competitive opportunities for varying skill levels. The top tennis players may go to a tennis tournament, while the soccer enthusiast might participate in a friendly match with another camp. Other girls may opt to stand on the sideline practicing newly learned cheerleading skills. No matter the interest, the girls of Wa-Klo have fun developing skills in team sports such as softball, field hockey, and lacrosse, and individual sports that include gymnastics, fitness, archery, and tennis. Campers may choose to adopt a bunny in camp, work in our garden, or learn to build a variety of different fires. When it comes to land, we are the master!
